Both the Carbon cycle and the Water cycle have an influence on climate change. This is most evident where they overlap; in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas which enters the atmosphere in several ways (organic respiration, diffusion from oceans, burning of organic matter). Water vapour is also a greenhouse gas and enters the atmosphere through evaporation. Learn more about the Carbon cycle and the Water cycle on their respective pages.
